It's Valentine's weekend and my best friend is giving me a gift I have wanted for a long time. I'm getting my black thorned anklet tattooed around my left ankle. It's simple yet sexy. Can't wait!

Thanx for the forewarning Rav. I may reschedule until I can find some. I know there were times when Chris was inking me on my calf that I was fighting back rageful tears. A few shytes and fuks were flyin' out every now and then. I got the real experience. The guys commented on how ballsy it was of me to go with such a big piece my first time. No fear baby!

My artist moved to Baton Rouge, LA. and I've been debating on who to choose here. I'm extremely ticky.
I've gotta chase down Richard. Ya know how these guys move around.

I have a new Tattoo I want it's in the Book The Magician's Companion by Bill Whitcomb. It's a wheel with all the Runes symbols.Very cool.

I have two tattoos that I got done rather recently (owl on my chest and cartouche on the back of my neck) that weren't done was well as I would have liked to have them done. Is it easy to "fix" or make them look better? Anyone experienced this before?
I have several more tattoos in mind for myself. I want to get a phoenix (go figure) on my left thigh that will be the biggest tattoo I would have. I have it drawn out and ready to go. I also want to turn both of my ankle tattoos into anklets, been wanting to do that for a long time now.

Cover ups are
fairly easy to do,
so long as the thicker lines
match with the lines
of the new design.
Many designs can also be
blended into another
picture using black shading.

That's good to know. My owl's problems are the artist was sloppy and wasn't very precise in his outline....there were lines that were crossed that shoulda just been nice points, etc. I had to have him redo the color in the eyes because they were only half colored, etc. My neck tattoo, apparently he had a heck of a time even getting the ink to stay in my skin....but the orange is mottled and faded.

Ive had that problem
with very light colors.
getting them to set right..
whites, oranges, yellow
dont seem to stay real good
with the spaulding inks.
Supierior makes a good white.
Ive heard there are companys
that make better brighter
inks, only they cost Alot
and the company wont sell to
just anyone unless you have
an established shop.

I need to get the cross on my wrist covered up cause it's messed up.I want to do it with another one.I want a cross and pentagram mix.Any ideas?

You could always do one of the crosses with the circular halo in the middle....the halo being the pentacle....Irish crosses I think those are, not positive though.

Sinister....I was pondering your design today while driving the kids to school....and I saw an eye with the iris as a pentacle and a tear coming down reflecting a cross...LOL no idea where it came from, but thought it intriguing enough to pass on.

what kind of cross
do you have? is it really big?
i bet you can get a coverup
of something totally different
with the right shading,
and have a more brilliant and
beautiful cross put into a
new design if the cross symbol
is special to you..
You'd be amazed at the beautiful
designs that can cover-up bad
ink these days.
your imagination is the limit..
